The Russian Hat

A cold and nasty wind whipping back and forth.  Frost covering the windows.  Trees and ground covered in white.  A thick fog present.  Swirls of snow falling from the sky with no end in sight.  A Russian looking hunter's hat and some idiot out shoveling our drive.  In this blizzard!

I've spent the past few hours pleading with Jesse, telling him there is no point to shoveling the drive right now.  The snow is nowhere near done, therefore we won't be going anywhere for the next few days (not even work), therefore we don't need our cars anyway, and therefore the drive doesn't need to be shoveled.  You can't even see outside right now, for crying out loud!  To no avail though, he is out there at this very moment, ensuring our drive is the cleanest on the block.

I've spent the past few minutes, while making hot chocolate for him, reading people's status updates on Facebook.  Reading posts such as this:
    
          Wondering what the neighbors are thinking??????? They are out shoveling their driveway for the 3rd time today, and the worst is yet to come!

Our neighbor is doing that too and they never shovel...I'm wondering why they chose today to start! If it's snowing sideways, shoveling probably isn't going to do much lol. Stay safe and warm!

I hear you, I hear you!  But I am sad to admit that my husband doesn't and is one of those neighbors.  You know, the ones you don't really understand.  I gotta love him though.....looking out for our driveway like that......

You know I would have posted a pic of him outside in the hat if only my camera weren't at Canon Repair right now!  The hat is SERIOUSLY ridiculous!!
